At the crossroads of art, education and new technologies, this exhibition offers a sensitive and entertaining approach to these natural environments essential to biodiversity.
At the heart of the exhibition is a naturalist papier-mâché sculpture designed by Anne-Lise Koehler, brought to life by an augmented reality device developed by studio Les Fées Spéciales.
Using digital tools, visitors can explore the riverbank from every angle:
- how wetlands function
- ecological roles
- the plant and animal species that inhabit them.
The experience provides a better understanding of natural balances, while raising awareness of their vulnerability.
Presented at the IUCN World Conservation Congress in Marseille and at the Écomusée de la Crau, the project was also highlighted at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival during a Work in Progress session.
This creation is the fruit of a collaboration between :
- Les Fées Spéciales studio (augmented reality),
- Anne-Lise Koehler (artistic direction and sculpture),
- Éric Serre (stage direction),
for the Conservatoire d'espaces naturels de Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, with the support of institutional partners committed to preserving the environment.
