A perched village in the Vésubie Valley, Belvédère is a ‘must’ for mountaineers heading for the famous Gordolasque Valley.
The heart of the village has lost none of its old-fashioned charm: narrow streets, little squares, tall alpine Piedmontese-style houses, covered passageways or old portals, etc. The activities practised in the past thanks to the abundance of water from springs and torrents are still visible: fountains, wash houses, mills and smithy. The village is the starting point for many hiking trails in the surrounding valleys and the Mercantour National Park.

Sights : The facades of the chapels: Saint-Antoine, Saint-Roch (open on Wednesday afternoons), Le Planet, Saint-Blaise, Saint-Grat (at La Gordolasque); The church of Saint Pierre et Paul; The milk museum; The panoramic views; The village, its squares and narrow streets.

Activities : Outings and treks in the Gordolasque Valley, Vallée des Merveilles and in the Mercantour National Park.
Walks, mountain-biking along the old mule tracks, climbing trips up the granite rocks of the Gordolasque, pétanque, versatile sports field, kids' garden, fishing, orienteering races in the village.
