Since his last album "Kanta Pa Skece", the French-Cape Verdean artist Carlos G. Lopes has created, for his return, a series of new tracks in a beautiful album filled with poetry and Afro pop sounds.

The singer-songwriter forges a path that reflects his personality, a powerful connection between Cape Verde, his native land, and France, his homeland since the age of 10.
Carlos G. Lopes honors his "Creole identity" with a confident modernity, embodying and living his roots, "here and now," drawing on his journey and his dual culture.
Constantly evolving artistically, his music reflects the magic of travel. Images of the Cabo Verde archipelago drive the musician's inspiration, at the crossroads between the country's traditional music (funana, morna, etc.) and a more contemporary style that flirts with soul, jazz, and even R&B.

The unwavering bond with his native land remains a distinctive feature: he readily sports the edge of one ear painted blue, a strong signal that his music is full of colors, those of the sky, the sea, the places and dreams of his childhood...
