The Mougins Art Centre is an exhibition space dedicated to the promotion of modern and contemporary art in its various artistic expressions (paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, etc.)
The centre is located in Place du Commandant Lamy, in the heart of the historic village of Mougins. Formerly Chapel Saint-Bernardin (1618) then former Town Hall (1954), the building has been completely renovated and adapted to host quality exhibitions.
It consists of two exhibition stages. On the first level, a space of 71m2 and on the second, a plateau of 79m2 leaving the beautiful restored structure.
The façade of the building retains its full character with its natural stone and original wooden door.
On the program in 2023: a major inaugural exhibition in the framework of the 50 years of the disappearance of Picasso "Pablo Picasso/ Aldo Crommelynck - The Copper Road - Mougins 1963-1972 - A history of engraving". Fifty unique engravings illustrating the artistic collaboration between the master and the famous engraver.
