Centre Nordique du Boréon

In summer, the Chalet du Boréon is the starting point for numerous hikes and a meeting place for rock-climbing enthusiasts.

In winter, Chalet du Boréon becomes the Centre-Nordique, with 25 km of cross-country ski trails, a biathlon stadium and 10 km of snowshoe trails. With family or friends, discover activities accessible to all.

Equipment rental and on-site catering available.

Nordic skiing :
Some twenty kilometers of marked and groomed trails are available for skating or alternating, depending on your preferences.

Waterfalls:
Discover a sensational winter activity!
A man-made ice waterfall that will give you a unique adventure. With 4 18-metre-high faces, at the foot of the cross-country ski trails, the Boréon icefall welcomes you all winter long.

Snowshoeing :
Marked, secure circuits around the cross-country ski trails.

In the Boréon and Salèse sectors, circuits in high mountain areas are also accessible, under the full responsibility of users.

The Boréon Nordic center is also :
- Educational stadiums on the shores of Lac du Boréon for training or discovering cross-country skiing on the flat, complemented by a biathlon area.
- Beginner trails for those new to cross-country skiing
- A double route up to the Alpage restaurant for lunch, with the cross-country ski trails on one side and a safe passage for pedestrians, snowshoers and sledges on the other.
