A paying cellar visit is possible.
Régine Sumeire, the 3rd generation of winemakers in her family, acquired Château Barbeyrolles in 1977. The dormant vineyard required extensive renovation, and after years of work in the cellar and vines, the first bottles of Château Barbeyrolles were produced in April 1982. In 1985, Régine created Provence's first clear rosé, the famous Pétale de Rose.
This 12-hectare estate in the Côtes de Provence appellation is ideally located at the foot of Gassin, an unspoiled spot on the Saint-Tropez peninsula.
Production of around 40,000 bottles a year in 3 colors, with a majority of rosé. Certified organic since 2005 and biodynamic by Biodyvin since 2022.
