Learn, discover and progress in climbing, a fun activity to share with friends. In the Alpes-Maritimes you can find all types of climbing in different places. From sites by the sea to sites in the Mercantour.
Initiation and improvement:
You will be given an appointment beforehand. It depends on the type of session, the level of the participants and the current conditions. Once on site, we'll teach you climbing techniques and the use of equipment according to your level.
What to bring
Clothes suitable for the sport.
Climbing shoes if you have them (loan possible depending on size).
Water and food.
Long route climbing:
This is another aspect of climbing. You follow a historic or renowned route along a face several dozen or even hundreds of meters long. In the south, the big faces offer a multitude of routes that we know well. We'll suggest a route suited to your level. You'll also learn how to progress. Discover the Baou de St Jeannet and Aiglun in the Alpes Maritimes. We can also suggest routes in the Verdon, the Calanques...
A route will be chosen in advance together after determining your level and your wishes. We'll meet at the site or at another location to carpool to the route. After an explanation of the climbing technique, we'll climb the route. Some routes require abseiling, others a trail.
What to bring
Small rucksack.
Climbing shoes (loan possible depending on size).
Water and energy bar.
Clothing suitable for the sport.
Equipment provided: harness, helmet, collective equipment (ropes, carabiners, quickdraws, belay systems).
If you have your own equipment, don't hesitate to bring it along, we'll advise you on how to use it.
