Your coastal cruise with Les Bateliers de la Côte d'Azur on sale at your tourist offices in La Londe les Maures, Cuers, Collobrières and Pierrefeu du Var.
Let yourself be seduced by "La Côtière", a trip to Port-Cros departing from La Londe les Maures.
Embark in the early afternoon from the port of La Londe-les-Maures and set course for the island of Port-Cros. Before reaching this unspoilt gem, enjoy a guided walk along the north-east coast of Porquerolles, passing the wild Cap des Mèdes. After rounding Porquerolles, head for Port-Cros, skirting the islet of Bagaud, uninhabited since the end of the last century and now a site of scientific research, which you can observe from the sea.
Throughout this cruise, let yourself be captivated by spectacular panoramic views of the sea and coastline, and soak up the unspoilt beauty of the heart of the Port-Cros National Park.
Upon arrival at Port-Cros, take advantage of a 1h30 stopover to explore the small village, enjoy an ice cream, or set off on the trails leading to the Fort de l'Estissac and Fort de l'Eminence. At the heart of Europe's first national marine park, created in 1963, Port-Cros is a fully protected island that has remained in its natural state. There are no cars or bicycles here: you can only explore the island on foot, following the rhythm of nature and following signposted paths.
A veritable refuge for birds and land and sea mammals, the island offers total immersion in an exceptional biodiversity, with an omnipresent flora and fauna, both on land and underwater. This stopover will allow you to soak up all the island's natural riches, even in just a short time.
After this enchanted interlude, take the boat back to the port of La Londe-les-Maures, taking with you unforgettable memories of this Mediterranean jewel.
VISIT TIPS
The island can only be explored on foot via signposted hiking trails.
