The Association "Les Amis de l'Orgue de Saint-Tropez" invites you to one of its concerts.
From an early age, Frédéric Blanc improvised on the piano and organ, discovering music on his own. After studying at the Toulouse and Bordeaux Conservatoires, he perfected his skills with André FLEURY and Marie-Claire DURUFLE, of whom he is a faithful disciple. Winner of several international competitions (Grand Prix de Chartres International Competition (2nd prize) in 1997, Grand Prix du Concours international de la Ville de Paris in 1997), he leads a career as an international concert performer: solo recitals or with orchestra and accompanist. Frédéric BLANC is a member of the organ commission of the City of Paris and of the commission for unprotected organs at the Direction de la Musique. From 1987 to 1995, Frédéric BLANC was organist at the Basilique de Saint-Sernin in Toulouse, and since 1999, titular organist of the Grand Orgue Cavaillé-Coll at the church of Notre-Dame d'Auteuil in Paris. He is also musical director of the Festival International d'Orgue d'Auteuil.
