
The Association "Les Amis de l'Orgue de Saint-Tropez" invites you to one of its concerts.
Born in Etterbeck, Belgium, in 1981, she began her musical training at the age of 12 with the flute, then studied organ in Woluwe St Pierre, Namur and at the Brussels Conservatory. A graduate of the Brussels, Namur, Strasbourg and Paris Conservatoires, she is a laureate of the Rotary, Vocation and Wernaers est de Lacour Foundations, and won first prize at the Axion Classic National Competition (Belfius). Her teachers have included Benoit MERNIER, Jean FERRARD, Christophe MANTOUX, Michel BOUVARD and Olivier LATRY. In 2008-2009, she was appointed artist-in-residence at the Sapporo Concert Hall (Japan). Named "Namuroise of the Year 2024", Patrimoine selection, she is, this summer 2025, associate artist of the Festivals de Wallonie. Cindy CASTILLO teaches organ at the Institut Royal Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie de Namur (IMEP) as part of the OrgueStudio project. Since 2023, she has been curator and artistic director of the new Thomas organs at Saint-Loup church in Namur.
