Cours Saleya

  • Historic site and monument
Rue Saint-François de Paule, 06300 Nice
Located at the heart of Vieux Nice, Cours Saleya is an essential living space, known for its iconic flower market, as well as the sunny terraces of the bars and restaurants which surround it.
Formerly a festive hub for social life, Cours Saleya is one of the most famous places in the Côte d'Azur. In the second half of the 19th century it was here that the floats of the Carnaval de Nice paraded, since moved to the Promenade des Anglais, then to Place Masséna. Today, this iconic place is vibrant from the morning to the evening. Particularly known for its flower market, it also hosts other stalls of fruit and vegetables, local handicrafts as well as many gourmet specialities. Thanks...
