Owned by the City of Hyères since 2019, the Sauvebonne ponds, like all wetlands, play biological, hydrological and physical roles that are essential to natural balance and human activities.
They are also home to a high level of biodiversity: many plant and animal species can be found here, including a multitude of birds, amphibians, reptiles, butterflies, dragonflies, mammals...
