Former copper stills. Was under management by an association, it was bought in 2019 by the municipality.
The distillery only operates in October and November, when the owners of the vines holding the right of "vintage boiler" bring the must of the grapes to be distilled.
When the Germans occupied Breil in September 1943, they took the still to retrieve the copper and send it to their country.
More modern equipment was installed at the end of the Second World War. The still was no longer heated with wood but with domestic fuel.
