Julia Colletto paints in drawing, gouache, oil and acrylic. Her works range from portraits to landscapes, from marine to wildlife.
Originally from northern Spain, Julia arrived in Sainte-Maxime with her family in 1964.
She began painting in 2008.
She soon began experimenting with different painting techniques, including drawing, gouache, oil and acrylic.
She tackles a wide variety of themes, including portraits, landscapes, seascapes and wildlife.
In recent years, she has taken up abstract painting, with its vivid colors, light and knife serifs, which she masters with ease and which give her a freedom of expression that suits her well.
