

At the heart of the resort, Valberg's church was begun in 1938 by one man, Abbé Dulieux, and completed after the war. The exterior paintings by Jean Cassarini depict mountain themes, skiers, flora and fauna.

At the heart of the resort, construction of the church of Valberg began in 1938 thanks to the will of one man, Abbé Dulieux, and ended after World War II. The paintings on the outside by Jean Cassarini present mountain themes with snow crystals, skiers and local flora and fauna. The painted ceilings inside are by Geneviève Mangin: the main theme is obviously the Virgin celebrated by skiers and donors: patron saint of the Mountains. The back was completed when the church was enlarged in 1963....
