The Economic History Society (HES) now has some 300 international members. Its annual three-day conference attracts up to 200 delegates.
The annual conference of the History of Economics Society is one of the most important international gatherings for economic historians. The conference provides an opportunity to meet friends and colleagues, discover new research in the field, and interact with journal and book editors and bloggers.
In place of the 53rd annual conference, the History of Economics Society is organizing a joint conference with the European Society for the History of Economic Thought (ESHET). The event will be held May 26-29 at the Université Côte d'Azur in Nice, France.
