followed by a discussion with Tim Benton, professor of art history and vice-president of the Eileen Gray - Étoile de mer - Le Corbusier association, and Renaud Barrès, doctor of architecture and director of the Conseil d'architecture, d'urbanisme et de l'environnement des Pyrénées- Atlantiques, in charge of the second restoration of villa E-1027 and the reconstruction of its specific furnishings.
This captivating documentary explores the famous Villa E-1027 in Roquebrune- Cap-Martin, a modernist masterpiece designed by Eileen Gray, a pioneer of twentieth-century design and architecture. But it also sheds light on the relationship between Gray and Le Corbusier.
