From the outdoor terrace, a sublime 360-degree panorama unfolds over the green commune of Ramatuelle, Cap Taillat, the Golden Isles and the Var and Côte d'Azur coastline to the east, with the pre-Alps as a backdrop.
Inside, a museum area presents the ecological heritage and its protection, the history of lighthouses from antiquity to the present day, including the Camarat lighthouse, as well as the evolution of lighting technologies and the Fresnel lens.
- Visit the Paillas mill:
A highlight of Ramatuelle's built heritage, this windmill was rebuilt identically in 2002, and is now open to visitors. The association "Les Amis des Moulins de Ramatuelle" (Friends of the Ramatuelle Windmills) offers a free, non-stop tour, with detailed explanations of its history and operation.
