Immerse yourself in time and space with the "Méditerranée 2050" exhibition at Monaco's Oceanographic Museum! This exhibition aims to raise public awareness of the crucial issues involved in preserving the Mediterranean, and to inspire concrete action.
To evoke the Mediterranean is to summon up the extraordinary history of the many great civilizations that have shaped its shores over the centuries. But it also means facing up to its future, which is more uncertain than ever. Various pressures linked to exploitation, population growth, pollution and global warming are all threatening its unique biodiversity and the services provided by its ecosystems.
The aim of this new immersive and interactive exhibition, "Méditerranée 2050", is to encourage visitors to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco to take a new interest in the Mediterranean and become involved in its protection, through a space-time journey to the year 2050.
