Patricia Passeron enjoys modeling and shaping materials. Next comes glazing, where she plays on the contrast between the matte finish of the clay and the glossy finish of the glaze.
Clay, she says, is an "inexhaustible source of techniques and processes that combine the four elements: water, earth, fire, and air. The earth guides me." Far removed from traditional canons of beauty, her pieces are imagined, modeled, sculpted, and glazed by hand. They are unique. They were created to move, astonish, awaken your curiosity or a question, fulfill a desire, or simply capture your heart.
