At the age of 18, Pascal Pontoire was admitted to the École municipale supérieure des arts et techniques in Paris. Three years later, he passed the entrance exam for the Gobelins technical training centre, which specialises in animated film sets. From 1993 to 2015, he created chromatic atmospheres for animated cartoons.
