Closing the Côte d'Azur Sport Film Festival, Beausoleil. In the early 1970s, Ghislain Lambert is a Belgian racing cyclist, born on the same day as Eddy Merckx, with ambitions to become a champion.

He managed to join a major team, but as a water carrier. Determined in his dream of victory and sporting glory, Ghislain Lambert waits impatiently for his turn, even if it means taking the plunge into doping.
