Get together with your family on Friday 5 December at 6.30pm at the Poste roundabout to follow this magical and unexpected parade through the streets of La Londe les Maures town centre, all the way to Place Charles-Camoin.
The town is presenting a grand parade orchestrated by the Transe Express company
It will take the form of an urban opera, with giant dolls and their drums wandering through the town centre. Three giant dolls in crinoline dresses will walk through the crowd. Inspired by the world of old toys, they will perform a repertoire combining original compositions, popular songs and lyrical arias. A clique of drums will accompany the procession, adding a steady rhythm to the stroll.
The voices of the singers will contrast with the percussion of the musicians, in a visual and aural setting.
Parade departs at 6.30pm from the La Poste roundabout towards Place Charles-Camoin. Donuts and hot chocolate will be served on arrival.
