This surveillance and defense tower of the Golfe-Juan roadstead has been rebuilt and redeveloped several times since the 16th century. The commune and the Conservatoire du Littoral have created the Espace Mer et Littoral.
A visit to the site and numerous educational activities will enable you to discover the wealth of marine and terrestrial flora and fauna, as well as the naval history of the harbor. Explore the permanent and virtual exhibition, which takes you on a voyage of discovery of the four main habitats of the Mediterranean. You'll start with an immersive space housing 10,000 liters of Mediterranean aquariums, followed by a virtual Mediterranean diving experience using an Oculus headset. Next, discover an interactive exhibition retracing the military past of the Graillon Battery. You can also enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the Golfe-Juan bay. Finally, take a botanical discovery trail through the Aleppo pine forest overlooking the sea, then set off on a water hike or kayak, accompanied by a naturalist guide for a rewarding exploration.
