Grimaud is transformed into an open-air museum thanks to the Grimaud Art Urbain festival!
Far from the usual transgression of street art, Grimaud Art Urbain brings art into harmony with history and transforms the town into a veritable open-air exhibition. On the initiative of Grimaud Town Hall, artists take over exceptional sites for a week, from the medieval streets of the village to the old abandoned hotel, the Kilal, and even the ‘Venice of Provence’, Port Grimaud. Between hills overlooking the sea and picturesque panoramas, urban art interacts with the surroundings, offering the public a unique immersive experience where past, present and contemporary creation meet.
For the 2026 edition, Grimaud Art Urbain offers an eclectic and intergenerational programme, combining iconic figures and emerging talents:
Speedy Graphito, ChrisTèll.T, Nora Simon, Python, Gen_IArt, Alice Jousset, Amok, Cristobal Persona, Dawal, Djalouz, Indey, Le D., Steeven Salvat, Lady M.
These unique perspectives come together to form a series of paintings and collages that resonate with the surroundings.
Throughout the week of creation for the 6th edition of Grimaud Art Urbain, the public will be able to explore Grimaud, discover the works in progress and meet the artists and the artistic director. The opening will take place at the end of the week with a guided tour of the village centre, offering a unique opportunity to understand the creators' intentions and immerse yourself fully in the singular world of Grimaud Art Urbain 2026.
Grimaud Art Urbain has established itself as an unmissable event, attracting major figures in street art such as Ardif, Codex Urbanus, Romain Froquet, Jo di Bona, Nadège Dauvergne, Olivia Paroldi, Alberto Ruce, Mojito Fraise, César Malfi and Sonac.
These iconic names have all made their mark on previous editions of this festival, which celebrates the region's history, heritage and modernity.
- Creation and installation of the works by the artists from 16 to 23 May 2026.
- Meet on Saturday 23 May 2026 in front of the Grimaud Tourist Office to view the works and then head up to the Town Hall forecourt for a cocktail reception.
