From the Gorbio car park, head north-west of the Rank valley via a paved path. After passing the DFCI Valmour trail, continue your ascent to reach the trail.
Once arrived at the small source of Romin, follow the mule track which arrives on the right bank of the valley. Soon the landscape changes and the forest will welcome you to its lairs.
Around the Col de la Madone and near the limestone fortress of Baudon, you will have to take the opposite direction to reach the Cabanelles...
