This neo-classical building was built on the initiative of former mayor Marc Moschetti and inaugurated in 1993 by Charles Pasqua, Minister of the Interior at the time. The current mayor is Joseph Segura.
The reception hall, known as the Espace Grappelli, is the venue for temporary exhibitions.
