To mark the 25th edition of the Cannes Dance Festival, photographer Nathalie Sternalski's open-air exhibition invites the public to rediscover the emblematic companies that have shaped the Festival's history.
Twenty large-format photographs, exhibited in front of the Tourist Office of the Palais des Festivals de Cannes and in the Square Reynaldo Hahn, make up a sensitive and vibrant stroll through the glances, gestures and suspended moments captured on stage. An open-air tribute to the living memory of dance.
Festival photographer since 2000, Nathalie Sternalski passionately and faithfully follows the artists and creations that make this event tick. Her work captures the emotion of movement, the poetry of gesture and the energy of the moment. Through her “Instants chorégraphiques”, she builds a profoundly human and artistic body of work, dedicated to dance and those who bring it to life.
Free access: Square Reynaldo Hahn and Parvis du Palais des Festivals, Cannes (next to the Tourist Office)
