To mark the 25th edition of the Cannes Dance Festival, photographer Nathalie Sternalski's exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the iconic companies that have shaped the history of the Festival..
Twenty large-format photographs, displayed in front of the Cannes Palais des Festivals Tourist Office and in Reynaldo Hahn Square, compose a sensitive and vibrant stroll through the looks, gestures, and suspended moments captured on stage. A tribute to the living memory of dance, in the open air.
This unique exhibition continues in the heart of the Casino Partouche Cannes 50 Croisette:
In this unmissable venue, a symbol of entertainment, the Casino Partouche Cannes 50 Croisette opens a space dedicated to visual art, transformed for the occasion into a truly unexpected artistic interlude.
Thanks to the direct link between the Casino and the Théâtre du Palais Stéphanie, where several Festival performances are held, you can prolong the artistic experience before or after the shows. A natural bridge between the stage and the emotion captured.
Official photographer of the Festival since 2000, Nathalie Sternalski passionately and faithfully follows the artists and creations that make this event so special. Her work captures emotion in movement, the poetry of gesture, and the energy of the moment. Through her “Choreographic Moments,” she has created a deeply human and artistic body of work dedicated to dance and those who bring it to life.
