Exhibition of municipal archives in the Museum tracing the life of the commune of Grimaud in the past.
During International Archives Week, the Heritage Museum is hosting a screening and exhibition of previously unseen photographic archives dedicated to Grimaud, its village, its castle and its inhabitants of yesteryear, offering a glimpse into the memory of local heritage.
To mark International Archives Day, on Tuesday 9 June at 7pm, a lecture entitled ‘Sur les traces de l'histoire du château’ (In the footsteps of the castle's history) will be held in the Beausoleil room. It will trace the history of Grimaud Castle and the heritage research carried out on it, and will serve as an introduction to the ‘Château de Grimaud’ exhibition, scheduled for August.
Organised by the Culture and Heritage Department.
