From February 20 to June 21, 2026, the contemporary art center La Malmaison presents the exhibition "Jam Session" by Carole Benzaken, a major figure in French contemporary painting, whose work is recognized both in France and internationally.
This is the artist's first monographic exhibition in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.
Designed for the spaces of La Malmaison, the project brings together some 135 works - paintings, drawings and videos - around three major paintings, begun in Los Angeles in 2002 and completed especially for this presentation in Cannes. Inspired by jazz and improvisation, the exhibition puts more than twenty years of creation into perspective.
