
As part of the European Heritage Days, the Freinet Heritage Conservatory is offering guided tours of the emblematic sites of Fort Freinet (€5) and an "Archaeological Excavations" workshop (€5).

10am-12.30pm Visit to Fort Freinet
Laurent Boudinot, heritage officer, invites you to discover the ancient village of La Garde-Freinet, set on a rocky outcrop (€5).
10 a.m.-12.30 p.m. "Archaeological digs" workshop:
During a miniature dig, equipped with trowel, brush, bucket and paintbrush, you'll uncover vestiges of the past (5€, children aged 6 and over).
8pm An exceptional evening to celebrate the signing of Élisabeth Sauze's latest book on the toponymy of villages in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, entitled Les noms de lieux du Freinet (Place de la Mairie).
Special opening of the Musée du Conservatoire du Freinet on Saturday September 20, 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm (free admission).
