Discovered during archaeological excavations for the construction of tramway line 1, the crypt provides an insight into the history of the town and its fortifications.
With its 2000m², the archaeological crypt of Nice is the second in terms of surface area after that of the Louvre in Paris. It presents four distinct states of the fortification of Nice and the evolution of military architecture over time. Tours in French. Tours in groups of 15 people maximum. Duration: 55 minutes Meeting point at Place Jacques Toja. Bring shoes without heels for the visit Ticket is not exchangeable or refundable. Cancellation possible in case of technical problems.
