A climate of threat looms, foreshadowing the tragic end of events. Frustrated by his student's shortcomings, the teacher becomes increasingly demanding and gradually transforms into a domineering and aggressive tyrant. Under his influence, the student gradually loses his cheerfulness and sinks into silence, like a rag doll.

Eugène Ionesco, master of the theater of the absurd, shows us that there is a fine line between authority and abuse of power.
