In a vast, dark room, filled with strange lights, a heavy door stands guarded by bureaucrats. A man appears, trying to pass through it.
Access is categorically denied, but the individual does not give in, and engages body and soul in a frantic struggle to convince this administration to let him pass: he is searching for a loved one who has crossed over, and is ready to do anything to find them.
From negotiation to supplication, he is gradually directed toward a disconcerting procedure, the disarming complexity of which seems to increase with each step. The man's determination to submit to this delusional process, whose outcome, constantly postponed and seemingly highly uncertain, proves cruel and comical. Despite warnings, fatigue, and discouragement, he chooses to plunge ever deeper into this bureaucratic labyrinth, at the risk of losing himself, driven by the persistent hope of seeing his loved one again.
