

The Méditerranoscope is a space dedicated to the discovery and preservation of the sea, designed and managed by the CPIE Association of the Lérins Islands and Pays d’Azur, located in Cannes on Sainte-Marguerite Island.
The CPIE of the Lérins Islands and Pays d’Azur has brought together its educational and naturalist expertise to create the Méditerranoscope: a collection of Mediterranean aquariums, exhibition spaces, and educational workshops.
This space was designed to:
Raise awareness and introduce the public to the richness of the coastline, its fragility, and the need to act for its preservation.
Understand the challenges facing our coastline:
Preservation of marine and coastal areas
Maintenance of biodiversity
Climate change
Promote:
Scientific knowledge
Understanding of management and conservation measures for coastal environments
Visitor engagement to change behaviours and become active participants in environmental preservation.
