Published in 1932, Aldous Huxley’s famous dystopia envisions a society governed by radical eugenics. Thanks to the consumption of Soma, a beneficial drug, everyone is content with their lot. As a result, the worst of dictatorships takes on the appearance of a democracy finally at peace.
