A certified organic saffron plantation in Saint-Vallier de Thiey, Le safran de Nans offers you its syrups, honeys and saffron salt, made in Caille with love and respect for the environment.
Pascale Luiggi cultivates saffron flowers, or Crocus sativus, at the foot of century-old oak and maple trees. Saffron blooms in October with the first frosts. Harvesting allows her to collect this rare spice, saffron, which she carefully removes by hand from each Crocus sativus flower she picks.
Her production includes saffron products such as saffron honey, saffron Guérande sea salt, saffron syrup and golden jelly, whose many virtues have been known for thousands of years.
Saffron is a flavour enhancer, bringing out the different flavours in your dish.
Pascale has a stall at many markets in the region, where she sells her produce and saffron-based products. You can also find her products in organic grocery stores.
