The Syndicat Interprofessionnel de l'Olive de Nice (SION) is the defense and management body for the "Huile d'Olive de Nice" and "Olive de Nice" Protected Designations of Origin (PDO). It brings together a collective of 102 members (olive growers, millers and confectioners) from 99 communes in the Alpes-Maritimes department. SION is a group of men and women who share the same values: - love of work and quality - the defense of product authenticity and quality - honesty and respect for the consumer, who buys with confidence - respect and transmission of traditions and heritage - the exchange of experience to improve working methods and techniques, and to create social links. SION promotes its products and member producers by taking part in local and national events (Salon de l'Agriculture) in partnership with the Alpes-Maritimes Chamber of Agriculture. www.olivedenice-aop.com PALMARES of the Concours Général Agricole in Paris 2023 The Concours Général Agricole, held in Paris during the Salon International de l'Agriculture, aims to reward the best local products.
