The great wine culture of the area is deeply ingrained in the Marquet family's history. The Vignerons du Village founded it in 1962, and it provides premium wines made with terroir and tradition in mind.

The winegrowers in the village eventually ceased producing their wine in personal cellars. Following their decision to come together, Les Marquets/Les Vignerons du Plan de la Tour has expanded to encompass approximately 55 winegrowers, boasting a combined vineyard size of 183 hectares. One of the renowned Terroirs of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez is this vineyard. Their A.O.C. Côtes de Provence accounts for almost 90% of their production.

Nearly 90% of the rosé wines produced are made at the Cave des Marquets. These wines are incredibly delicious, fruity, silky, and pale thanks to the variety of grapes chosen and the expertise employed in their production. There are various cuvées in the range:

Cuvée Les Terrasses du Golfe is a wine produced in the Provence wine tradition, a superb representation of our terroir, and the winner of a gold medal at the Féminalise 2024 international competition.
Cuvée Esquisse des Marquets: A wine to share, symbolic of the art of life in Provence.
Cuvée Opus des Marquets: A wine to be shared, this beautiful cuvée won a gold medal at the Féminalise 2024 global competition.
The ultimate expression of Les Marquets' skill, the Cuvée Grand Œuvre is a must-have to elevate your receptions.

Every wine is meticulously crafted utilising both conventional and contemporary winemaking methods to encapsulate the spirit of the area and showcase their dedication to ecological preservation and sustainability.

The Plan de la Tour village's granite terroir has very little humus in it. It also yields wonderful white wines from the Rolle grape type, which give very floral wines that are very much in demand today, and outstanding, well-balanced red wines with ripe fruit aromas, some of which are stored for several years in barrel cellars.

Les Marquets is the epitome of Provençal viticulture, embodying its passion, tradition, and quality.

All of these wines are available in our sales cellar, which is open every day but Sunday, as well as the greatest restaurants along the Golfe de Saint-Tropez and nearby supermarkets.
