The upper part of the ramps is listed as a historical monument and dates from the middle of the 18th century, while the lower part dates from the Second World War and has recently been restored.
History :
The ramps were built in 1753. The upper part bears the name of two priests of the parish of Saint-Michel, Canon Ortmans and Canon Gouget. They were extended from Longue Street to Quai Bonaparte in 1941.These divergent ramps gave a theatrical dimension to the baroque ensemble of the court and the two churches.
