Little Jim Hawkins, who leads a quiet life helping his mother with the service at the Admiral Benbow Inn, finds himself in possession of a mysterious treasure map through a series of adventures.

He delivers the map to his friends, Doctor Livesey and Count Trelawney, who then decide to lead an expedition in search of Treasure Island. Jim joins them aboard the Hispanola as a cabin boy. But the crew turns out to be a band of pirates—led by John Silver. Once on the island, they fully intend to seize the treasure and get rid of the English nobles. Will Jim and his friends succeed in escaping the pirates, finding the treasure, and returning safely to England?
