Part of the Children's Spring Festival.
Young Jim Hawkins, who leads a quiet life helping his mother at the Admiral Benbow Inn, finds himself, through a series of adventures, in possession of a mysterious treasure map. He gives the map to his friends, Doctor Livesey and Earl Trelawney, who then decide to lead an expedition in search of Treasure Island. Jim embarks with them aboard the Hispanola as a cabin boy. But the crew turns out to be a band of pirates—led by John Silver. Once on the island, they intend to seize the treasure and get rid of the English nobles. Will Jim and his friends manage to escape the pirates, find the treasure, and return safely to England?
A story full of adventure and danger, where the lure of profit can prove fatal, where friendship is key, and where honesty isn't always found where you expect to find it…
