Mairie, Place de la Mairie, 06420 Marie
Marie, whose name appeared for the first time in 1066, is a mediaeval perched village which has kept all its authenticity.
Overlooking the Tinée Valley, it is a holiday paradise with activities essentially turned towards Nature. It offers an over-180° panorama on the valley from Mont-Vial all the way to the Upper Tinée Valley.

Sights: The church with two paintings (1644) by Giovanni Rocca of Nice; a processional statue of the Virgin Mary (1777) and a processional cross (14th c); feudal gate; castle; bread oven; oil mill.
