Restaurant serving Cambodian, Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese specialities in the Auchan shopping mall in Grasse.

“Mi-Am” means “to eat” in Cambodian, and the French language has adopted it in the childlike expression “miam-miam,” meaning “let’s eat—let’s have a feast.” This is the philosophy of Mi-Am restaurants.

This is the philosophy of Mi-Am restaurants. But above all, it is the story of the Taing family and their adventure, which began in the 1960s.

Life’s twists and turns led them to discover and fall in love with Asia: leaving their homeland of China, traveling through Cambodia and Laos, exploring Thailand and Vietnam, a strong, respectful family was born, emblematic of Asian culture.

It was in France that they finally found refuge, hope, and peace. Their roots and their life experiences represent a culinary knowledge of absolute authenticity in traditional and popular Asian cuisine.

It is their deep respect for food that they wanted to share with us, making it accessible to everyone by creating the first Asian fast food restaurant. A simple meal to enjoy at home.

A successful venture, because for 20 years, Mi-AM restaurants have been offering around a hundred Cambodian, Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese specialties every day.
Simple pleasure, all day long, with quick service or takeout. All our restaurants also serve spring rolls and vegetarian dishes.
