It's a classic of the Côte d'Azur's Winter Festivities, and it's back on the Côte d'Azur's festive agenda.
More concentrated, more festive, always joyful and popular, the Fête du Mimosa will take place in the town's neighborhoods, where the colorful, flower-filled corsos will be on parade. In the heart of Mandelieu - on the Place de France - festival-goers will be able to meet up, without forgetting the historic mimosa district: Capitou and the seaside district of La Napoule.
On the program: parades, light parades, flower corsos, children's carnival, entertainment, strolls, exhibitions, animated squares, street and market flowering. Five days of intense festivities to share, enjoy and celebrate the mimosa, symbol of the Côte d'Azur's winter sun.
The Tourist Office will be the meeting point for a host of proposed hikes, discoveries of the Tanneron - Europe's largest mimosa forest - sales of mimosa-related products, ticket purchases for the corsos... Mimosa specialties offered by talented Mandolodian culinary creators will be in season. The program will be rounded out by heritage tours of the Château de La Napoule and botanical tours of Mandelieu's parks and gardens.
At the same time, Mandelieu-La Napoule is stepping up its mimosa flowering on the town's main thoroughfares. Mimosa will also be distributed at markets.
