Mountain biking and walking : La Maurin des Maures

Through vineyards and hills, families and children, as well as experienced mountain bikers, will be able to admire the springtime beauty of our landscapes, and soak up the scents of the many species that escape from our Mediterranean forest.

It is in the footsteps of Maurin des Maures, the imaginary hero of the Provençal poet Jean-Aicard, that participants will be able to take part in this nature trail in La Londe les Maures.

Information 2025:
This year's ride is open to all mountain bikes, including electric-assist bikes, with:
5 mountain bike and ATV courses: 8, 18, 30, 43 and 54 km
1 hiking course: 10 km

Starts and finishes: Espace Nature La Brûlade from 7.30am to 10am, depending on the course.

- For families and beginners (accompanied by a parent):
8 km - difference in altitude 50 m: pleasant and without difficulty - supervised route.

- For occasional riders:
18 km - difference in altitude 280 m: up and down on rolling trails without major difficulties.

- For regular and more experienced riders, 3 types of route:
30 km - elevation gain 600 m: for riders who want to ride without too much technique.
43 km - difference in altitude 1200 m and 54 km - difference in altitude 1620 m: for experienced and very experienced mountain bikers.

A hike is also organised and accompanied by the Randonneurs Londais departing from La Brûlade:
- Between land and sea: departure from La Brûlade at 8.30am. 10 km, 3h, family outing.
Walking shoes compulsory and suitable clothing.

A 12.30pm: Prize-giving ceremony and giant anchovy cake.

Each participant will leave with 1 gift.
