This is a beautiful MTB and gravel ride with very little elevation gain. The route follows the Estéron riverbed, through the shaded woodland of the Pensier forest, leading to the hidden springs of the Estéron.
The trail alternates between wider and narrower paths, generally easy for mountain biking. A few sections with roots or ruts require basic bike-handling skills. For gravel riders, some parts may feel slightly more technical depending on your level, but any difficulties can easily be bypassed or walked.
There are also several smooth, flowing gravel sections that will particularly appeal to gravel enthusiasts.
