The olive is one of our region's most emblematic fruits. Until May, we're offering a series of events in partnership with the CAUE06 and the Maison du Vivant, to discover, learn and share about the olive tree.
Community work project: maintenance of the olive grove at Veil, organised by Les Week-Ends Solidaires – registration required.
Join us for a wonderful day in the beautiful olive grove at Veil in Breil-sur-Roya, co-organised by Les Week-Ends Solidaires, Maison du Vivant, the Curieux de Nature association and the Mercantour National Park.
Project tasks: Regeneration and maintenance of a community olive grove
- Removing ivy from around the trees and reducing the growth on the walls
- Selective clearing of access paths
- Removal of regrowth at the base of olive trees
- Shredding of green waste
- Piling up stones and branches
For lunch, bring a packed lunch and a smile!
