Embark on a sonic journey across Europe and beyond, discovering historic organs nestled in often little-known regions.
For several years, Arnaud De Pasquale and Camille Frachet have been conducting an exciting recording project featuring these unique instruments, from Mexico to Sicily, via Corsica and Spain.

This concert is an invitation to explore the rich and varied repertoires revealed during their travels: an anthology of pieces from the Mediterranean basin, resonating with the luminous notes of da Vinci, Dalla Gostena, Mudarra, and De Tejada, as well as rarer pieces from Eastern Europe, such as the Codex Caioni of Sibiu, preserved in Romania.

Northern Europe will not be left out, notably with the Susanne van Soldt Manuscript, a precious testimony to domestic keyboard practice at the turn of the 17th century. Organ, cornetto, and flute will alternately interact, recreating the lively and colorful atmosphere of the chapels and salons of the period. Between sacred and secular music, improvisations and dances, this program resonates the diversity of styles and traditions, while paying tribute to the genius of the organ builders who shaped these heritage treasures. A concert like a window open onto a world
