After the discovery of the astonishing Sa-Ii (Gap of the Time) by German-Korean composer Song Aa Park, winner of the 2024 Unanimes Competition, Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1 will immerse us in the modernity of the immediate post-war period. With his dazzling technique and poetry, Bruno Philippe will reveal all the lyricism and biting irony of this seminal 20th-century work. Equally tragic and luminous, Brahms' Symphony No. 4 will crown this exceptional program.
